My daughters just lost their Grandpa on December . My oldest was with her Grandparents the  Life is just better when I’m with my Grandkids shirt  her Grandpa passed away. His last words, before the ambulance took him were, “I love you Kid!” He died on th e way to the hosp ital. We had just lost my sister in law his daughter 10 days prior. But I know, without a shadow of doubt, they watch over us each and every day  My son lives for his papa. My dad was so strict that all he had to do was look at us and we knew what he wanted. Don’t even look wrong or your teeth were beside your body! Mom was the The Grinch stole my lesson plan shirt. It was about real respect and love. It was about family. I miss them and you know what? They were right, not old fashioned but right. I am so glad you started putting subtitles! The other day Gideon was like “you never help me with anything!” You bet that kid made his own food for the rest of the week. My mom did that shit once to me!!! So in my case it is the other way around. I pay for wifi, cable, tv’s, electricity, and rent cause I still live with my parents. This year I became unemployed for a while and couldn’t buy my parents their birthday cakes like I did every year nor my sibling’s plus a gift like flowers or a watch or even speakers. Well long story short. This year my dad’s birthday passed back in June and he complained that I never bought him anything so for that entire month I didn’t pay any bills (not even the The Grinch stole my lesson plan shirt or wifi) and he told me to not worry about his gift or cake but to pay off the bills cause he wanted to watch his shows. My mom never bothered asking when hers came up in August cause she likes watching her novels on my computer and tv I got a couple Christmas ago for all of us to enjoy but they keep in their room for “safe keeping.
