My daughters just lost their Grandpa on December . My oldest was with her Grandparents the  Life is just better when I’m with my Grandkids shirt  her Grandpa passed away. They were going to do their annual decorating of the Christmas tree-something they had done for  years. His last words, before the ambulance took him were, “I love you Kid!” He died on th e way to the hosp ital. We had just lost my sister in law his daughter 10 days prior. But I know, without a shadow of doubt, they watch over us each and every day  My son lives for his papa. He babysits him and when I go to work I tell him I’ll miss him and he says “Ok goodbye I will have fun with Papa. When I was about 8 or 9, I complained we only got one Christmas present, and it was always something to wear. My Mom stood and quietly watched, with arms crossed. I had TWO differently wrapped packages! I opened one and it was a sock. The lesson of the day: don’t complain about the lack of Christmas presents, just enjoy the time and memories shared. I miss my Mom, and her old school, common sense lessons. Someone mentioned it’s because most of these parents didn’t have an education that’s why they behaved like that I don’t think so, I think it’s about making your kids see you work hard for the luxuries they have and they should be grateful, appreciate and above all not be rude and bratty.

I remember one time my mom didn’t buy us Christmas presents (my birthday is on Christmas so no birthday presents for me lol) and we asked her why and she said “I did get y’all presents! you have a house, you got food, you have a bed, you have clothes. What more do you want My birthday is in Christmas and I will always get a lot of presents from my momma up until she passed away. And then after that, yea we didn’t get clothes, we didn’t have our own bed anymore, shit or a house because my dad kicked us out.  That’s not petty. That’s teaching you bolas de ingrates that Y’all take things for granted. Be humble and grateful for the With a fuck fuck here and fuck fuck there I don’t give a fuck fuck shirt in your lives. A thing as simple as toilet paper is a luxury, especially the soft stuff.
